Oooooh. No words can express how much I enjoy going to shops like L’Occitane, as a lover of fragrance and body stuff! Never have I thought that I’d love their fragrances! Truth be told, I didnt want to smell their other perfumes just because I didnt like the smell of the rose-scented one..until last Wednesday! I think it was really lucky of me to even take interest in smelling their Green tea with Lavender-scented perfume, because right at the moment I smelled it, I fell inlove with it and began smelling the others. I only got to smell three of their perfumes at first, and guess what I bought?
ooooh! Love the paperbag, dont you? Because, I do!
It’s their Citrus Verbena Summer Fragrance! What I like about it is that, it smells sooooo fresh, like lemons and oranges, and its sooo mild, unlike other perfumes!
See? Hahaha. I just love the perfume. Btw, it costs for around 2700+ php.
And yes! I’m definitely going back for that Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette!
Anyway! L’Occitane is pronounced as LOX-EE-TAN. Again, LOX-EE-TAN, just in case you’re wondering!
Yes, I do lack photos, since I’m not allowed to, but hey, the 24th of December was well spent, and I can recall that all of us (whole family) were all smiles. Anyways, here are the details about my outfit:
Black Sando from G2000 | Red Dress from Mango | Shoes from Millie’s | Watch from Nautica
I am now at my grandparents’ house in China..so this is a queued post. :) How are you guys doing?
Yes, of course. After nnnnnnn attempts, this is the only photo that looks presentable, or not. Teehee. Maybe it would’ve been better if my brother was the one taking my photos, but what can I do? I can not blame my camera and tripod. Even so, I should thank both my tripod and camera for being kind enough to help me.
A clearer version of my outfit, or maybe the photo below is. Abitsadthatmyeditwasntthatcleandoyouseethelittlesquareplacedonmyhand
Quite clear that I’m inlove with these tones for my photos. :>
Dont the reddish tones fit the color of my skirt? :)
Platform heels make me feel confident, you know. But my feet tire easily. So, boo!
Anyway, this was what I wore last Wednesday when we went to MOA for mom’s gift shopping. Boy, was it tiring to walk in those heels while carrying four, no five heavy shopping bags. But what can I do? I wanted to wear them eh! So yes, here we go, details on my outfit:
Crocheted/Lace top from ZARA | Sando from SM Department Store | Skirt from Shanghai (forgot which store, but Philip bought this for me) | Watch from NAUTICA | Bag from COACH | Shoes from Millie’s, Macau
On another note, earlier today, I flew to Xiamen, but posts are queued..so drop by some time, alright? :)
Oh, and by the way, how did you guys spend Christmas? Drop me a line, will you? :)
Chocolates, Chocolates, and mooooooooooooreee Chocolates!
Looks like someone’s been receiving too much Chocolates for Christmas, and that someone’s ME. Ha ha ha. When I told mom about what a coincidence this is, all she said was “Wow, your friends surely know that you like eating.” And I pulled my ‘ok’ face. Ha ha ha. Mom likes teasing me, you see.
Well, according to a zodiac-lover friend of mine, Taurus like/s receiving expensive stuff..so you see.. It is not a wonder that I felt delighted upon receiving all those goodies. To recall… Dyanne’s Chocolate-coated Pretzels, and of course, Dexh’s Ferrero Raffaello/s. And now, My Godfather’s Belgian Chocolates and my bestfriend’s M&S SWISS Chocolate Collection. YUMYUM!
These chocolates made me feel like I was close to fulfilling my dream, to become a Mermaid. Heeheeeee. They were so pretty and delish that my little sister finished eating almost 3/4 of the box in no time.
Oooooh. Boy, were these chocolates delish. Contesse, Prestige and Scala were my favorites from the entire collection. :) Craving? I guess not. But if you guys are, I suggest you go to M&S to buy some of their goods! Surely, you wont regret purchasing from them!
On another note, it’s almost Christmas eve! Be happy and you know, have the time of your lives! Have a Merry Merry Christmas in advance! :3
Le gaaaaasp! Okay, okay, so.. last week, when I arrived earlier than I was expected to at school, Phoebe handed me a big paper bag and told me that it was from Maxine. What utter glee was it when I was told that it was from my awesome painter-friend, Maxine!!!
So what were the gifts she sent/gave me? This
and a box of pink bath salts (?), that I failed to take a photo of. Now, what really surprised me was the IDEA. The idea of developing and framing photo I took when our school held our field trip. WHY DOES THIS AMAZING GIRL KNOW HOW TO MAKE ME EXTRA HAPPY HEEHEEEHEEEE. I mean.. she made me feel special, and also did she make me feel that she appreciates my work, you know? You know how it feels when someone appreciates your work. Of course, you do.
How I feel can not really be put into words, but all I can say is that, I am really really really grateful for a friend like her. She keeps me inspired, no joke. And I like being surrounded by people who give off happy vibes, and PEOPLE WHO MAKE YOU LAUGH REAL HARD YOU WANT TO PEE (HAHA EXAGGERATING) EVEN IF YOU’RE FEELING BLUE, LIKE MAXINE. OH, MAXINE, I love you, I really do. THANK YOU. :-*
The last few days of the second week of December had been all about heavy traffic, loads of facts to memorize or study, me practicing my Piano pieces(coming up are a few of the shots I took in my free time), me munching on too much Chocolate/s (to post about that soon), and heavy downpour of rain, and I am not really proud to say that I suffered..and I still am tired.
An overview of the cards I received for this year’s Christmas card delivery
Hmmm.. First and foremost, I’d like to say that I really really felt touched every time I received a card, since I never really thought that these people would remember me. (We get shuffled every year..so that explains it) I really really felt loved in those three days. ;)
Anyway, I would like to thank these pretty and handsome people who sent me cards and also blog here on tumblr: Maxine, Louise, John Michael, Jason, and April. Really, thank you! I enjoyed reading your Christmas cards. I love you 5! :>
On another note, my beloved gal pal, Stephanie, sent me a handmade card which made me o___O OMZ. Well, hello!?! It’s prettiness is beyond words! You see, she glued an ORANGE (MY FAVORITE COLOR) ribbon on the card, and even made my name spectacular! Hahahaha! I like it when people make something pretty for my name. Hahahaha! Narcissistic me! Why the ribbon? Because whenever she sees a ribbon, she remembers me! Hah! Sorry, it’s just too pretty!
And of course! Another card that made me giddy! The card Maxine sent me! She did it by herself too! I really love it. I mean, a card from a rising painter and from an almost twin of mine! I really admire her for being too creative and all that, and for that, she has my support!
Ah yes, another card that really touched my heart. The card my bestfriend sent me. I mean, it’s not like it’s every year that he sends me one! This one is truly for keeps because he really worked hard for this!
Also, what made me giddier was that when Jericson, someone I look up to because of his dedication for his craft, sent me a Christmas card! I forgot to take a photo of it, but it was also handmade and made me smile from the cover palang! Troll-face! If you have time, please do visit his online portfolio!
Looks like I’m already ending this post na! Anyway, I’d like to thank the amazing people who sent me pretty cards! I love you! :) Merry Christmas!
Ah yes.. I did my Christmas shopping earlier than my mom did. Last Sunday, we went to the Mall to do our Christmas shopping..and guess what? We ended up bring 20+ paperbags from shops such as Gingersnaps, Periwinkle, Marks & Spencer, Toy Kingdom, Zara, Gap and the like home.
I also bumped into some of my classmates in MOA, including the noisiest Rosanto I’ve ever met while I was at the gift wrapping counter, hahaha. Last Sunday was tremendously tiring, but nevertheless, it was fulfilling to actually finish shopping for the people you love.
So here’s the details about my outfit: Pretty satin button down top from ESPRIT | Jeans from Levi’s | Feather necklace from Butingtings | Watch from Nautica | Shoes (overusing them) from Staccato | Bag from Gucci (Singapore branch)
A photo set of what I’ve been busy with this afternoon (classes got suspended, bummer, 3 quizzes on Monday)
Since someone special wrote me a special Christmas card yesterday, I decided to show my appreciation for his effort — in short, reply. Hmmm.. First of all, I love the letter set I used for my reply. The color combination and the Matryoshka dolls.. Words alone can not describe their cuteness. Secondly, I enjoyed writing the reply since I was being true to both myself and him. Nothing Cheesy though. :) Thirdly, I know the Good Lucky’s supposed to be Good Luck, so yeah, please pardon Korea’s Yellow Submarine for making pretty stuff like the one above. Heeeeee. Last but not the least, I definitely enjoyed taking photos of the letters I wrote. //Gah.
Hmm..I can now see clearer, although I refrain myself from wearing my glasses too much because I love my eyes. Hihihihi. They help big time whenever I have to read something written on the blackboard, promise. That is why aside from it’s style, I love them. Teeeeheeee. Hahaha :)
Just last Friday did I get my camera back from Canon, Hongkong, and never have I felt happier when I got it back! So of course, I was giddy giddy, and for that, I took photos of things that excite me! Hahahaha. I just cant get over! Just imagine how it felt posting iPhone-quality photos for my blog~ Anyway, are you guys excited for Christmas? Well, I am!
Oh, and by the way, can you see that photo above that has the silver spring of a notebook-like thing focused at? Well, I decided to give my hopes up on having a Starbucks 2012 Planner in Poplar and bought a MUJI 2012 Planner in Red instead! It’s a pretty simple one, and +++++++++ the clean design suits my taste well! To sum it all up, MUJI is now my favorite store to shop at for stationery and simple yet pretty stuff. Pretty obvious that I’m obsessed, right? Who wouldnt be when their pens write so smooth and when their stuff wont just stop amazing you? HEH.
Anyway, I hope you guys did your weekends justice!
First of all, I’d like you to know that buying this book is one of the ‘a bit hard’ decisions I had to make in my life. Since I have been a victim of the ‘oh-the-cover-is-so-pretty-maybe-the-book-is-a-good-read’ syndrome, I learned to ponder not only once but twice before really buying a book. At first, I wanted to include this book in my Fullybooked shopping cart but at the end, I decided not to since I’d like to learn more about it first. And so, I did, and when I was finally led into a certain bookstore in Beijing, I bought this book without second thoughts. Ta-da!
I have currently landed on page 85 due to my ‘business’ and stuff. But then again, I would like you to know that ‘The Help’ by Kathryn Stockett is a must read and that if only I had enough time to read, I would finish it in one day (I think you get what I mean).
Hmm, remember my post about the stuff I’m giving to my friends as Christmas presents? Well, after buying all of them, I couldnt help but think about myself. Yes, I have that attitude. I’m a bit selfish. After all, the money I had in my wallet was mine, that I thought. So while waiting for the dishes we ordered to be served, I asked my brother to accompany me for a stroll around the shops. Later did I know that I’d end up really buying something for myself. And guess what it is?
Ta-da! It functions as a cuff and a ponytail holder, if you’re wondering!
as a ponytail holder~
and of course, as a cuff. HAHA. Anyway, I bought it from Simplejoys for 200 pesos. Quite pricey but I think it was worth it because it really made me happy!
On another note, after my family and I had our dinner, we went to Marks & Spencer. I had a funny experience there since I thought I was size 20. Never did I thought that I had to try size 14, then size 12 then finally, size 8 - MY SIZEEE. Later did I know that they’re following the American size pala. First time eh! Without my mom assisting me!
The red-stripey long-sleeved top I wore when I had my photo taken beside our Christmas tree, The denim polo I wore last Saturday, and the pricey scarf I’m waiting to use in the upcoming Christmas vacation. Total bill was like 7k.
BTW, I’M IN LOVE WITH SCARVES. GAAAAH. Anyway! Today is Friday, so be happy!
